Highlight and Matters arising from Episode 207 of the SERVICOM Help Desk Radio Programme

The Episode 207 of the SERVICOM help desk Radio programme held on the 14th of March 2023, the National Coordinator, Mrs  Nnenna  Akajemeli  and  Mrs Henrietta  Okokon  of  the Public Awareness Unit  where in the studio.

The N.C intervened in a case of a complainant (Mrs Bolama) who had issues with her result from the Former Federal University of Technology Yola, now known as Adamawa State University of Technology.  She asked the NUC to look into the matter and also asked her to write to the SERVICOM Office to take it up. The N.C added that the SERVICOM OFFICE will write to N.U.C   inviting them to the Help Desk Radio programme to enlighten Nigerians on what they do and to add value to their operations.

The Public Awareness Manager spoke on the Topic; Entrenching the Culture of Service Excellence the Work Place (in our MDA’s)  she  said culture of Excellence is doing the Right thing when no one is watching you and providing a quality service no matter your designation in that organisation. She added that for the CEO to let the employee know the Vision, Mission and Values of the organisation they work in is also a Culture of Excellence.

In achieving this, you must create capacity and structure that will empower the employees to be focused and understand the Vision of the Organisation and also having a service Charter that spells out what the Organisation clearly does, the Awareness Manager said.

High performance should be nurtured through Team work, Encouragement and Awards of officers and instilling of Innovation in the work place for better performance and productiveness .
